The recreational forest, located on the northwest coast of the Penang Island, is situated on a 23-hectare site. Journey to the Sungai Tukun Recreational Forest takes approximately 10 minutes by boat and 20 minutes on foot.

There are areas available in Sungai Tukun Recreational Forest suitable for individuals and families to unwind and picnic.

Shelter, tables and benches are placed at several locations within the picnic areas for the visitors convenience.

Visitors can also camp-out. There are several camping areas equipped with the basic facilities including cooking sheds and public toilets.

For a milder form of exercise, footpaths and concrete steps are provided for visitors to stroll around the forest area while enjoying clean and fresh air.

For overnight visitors, they can choose to stay in one of the 6 chalets, which are equipped with bed and water.
